Legoland Windsor

Hi im hoping someone can help, we have promised our girls a trip to LEGOLAND, we plan on travelling down the day before, staying over then hitting the park the next day. We live in Staffordshire so quite far away. Ive looked at the packages through there website but its just so pricey, were looking week day but has to be in the 6 weeks holidays. Are there any other websites we can book through? we do have the kelloggs vouchers but to be honest it works out just as much booking separate and then paying on the day plus wouldn't want to risk not getting in after we have travelled so far. any help would be much appreciated. Budget is ideally £200 that's entrance with hotel and breakfast as we will be spending money on food as well whilst there so all adds up.

have you looked at Premier Inn / Travelodge hotels nearby? The Travelodge Maidenhead is nearby (less than 30min drive I'd say), although it doesn't have onsite parking you can park in nearby multistory car parks for £1 from 7pm - midnight for £1.50 and after that until 9am it's free.
There's a couple of Harvesters perhaps for dinner (one on the Windsor Road, one the other side of Maidenhead out towards Taplow), or a Pizza Hut within walking distance of the M'Head Traveldoge.
If you get down early you could take the kids down to Boulters Lock and the river area if its a nice day to stretch their legs.
You'd be well placed to hit Windsor the next day. HTH.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We booked the Bracknell hotel. 30 mins on the bus to legoland Good breakfast in the hotel. Good sized family room and a sainsbury on the doorstep to buy the packed lunches from. Grandson loved it0

We're from Staffordshire too... We went down on the Friday evening after work/school and stayed at the Premier Inn Bracknell (http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/BRAWEA/bracknell-central). I booked a while ago and it was £39 for the night. We just took some pastries from the supermarket for breakfast. It was about a 25 minute drive to Legoland.0

You could look at this post on Holiday Pirates (part of Hotukdeals.com) as Just checking a random date of 25 July it would be £103 for Legoland tickets for 2 adults and 2 children and family room with breakfast and free overnight parking at the St giles Hotel Heathrow.

Been to Legoland Windsor several times when kids were littler, travelling from Leicestershire. Found Premier Inn Bracknell Central to be a good choice. Ask for a room overlooking its car park, rather than the road/traffic island. Staff always friendly, free parking when we used to go and Premier Inn do free breakfast for kids if adult(s)eating. Used to get some good deals, sometimes £39 a night for family room. At that price, we often stayed two nights.
We didn't ever book in advance for Legoland, you can turn up early if you're already stopping down the road. We always used Merlin passes paid for by Tesco Clubcard, so could go for half a day on arrival, full day next day, half day before travelling home. Less rushing to do things, but definitely had enough by the end. I think you can get day tickets with Clubcard though. Legoland charge for parking now, used to be free.
Taking your own food/drinks for the day will keep costs down, car parking not far from entrance if you want to leave stuff and fetch later. New/popular rides are best visited first thing or late in the day (if you are still standing by then).
Hope that helps.

Ps. Double check terms and conditions if you decide to use Kelloggs or other vouchers. It's often the London attractions that are restricted, usually in August.

Thank you, that price seems to good to be true lol where is the catch? £215 for one hotel we looked at through legoland
A search of the website seems to state that they are an offical Legoland partner and specialise in cheap Legoland breaks. They are also on the cashback sites so may be worth going through those to book. I remember reading before on Hot Uk deals that the Bull hotel in Gerards Cross did a cheap Legoland package which got great reviews from those booking, so may be similar offer.0
