booming noise in plumbing
plantain
hi, i know this may not be the right place to talk about this, today ive noticed a random booming sound in the plumbing that happens fairly frequently even with no taps on, and kind of a slap when i turn off a tap. i noticed the boiler pressure was very low and turned it back up to 1.0 but it didnt help anything.
i can hear a tapping just above the stop !!!! in the hallway, but at the end of the pipeline in the dining room (the pipes go up then come down) its a shuddering boomy sound.
anyone ever had this? can it be fixed turning off the stop !!!! and turning on the taps to let the air get back in?
