Oh, and also the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth, especially the new Mary Rose museum (which is extremely atmospheric). You can get an annual ticket for the whole dockyard, which is not bad value if you are able to go back several times. As well as HMS Warrior and HMS Victory it includes something called Action Stations which has interactive and more physical things for children to do, and a harbour tour by boat.Life is mainly froth and bubble

Omg I just brought a voucher on travelzoo for this. Not sure how much you would save being g adult and child, but for a couple or a family ticket it was a good saving0 -

I always find kids of that age love giant bubble wands which you can buy for around £20 online or make the rods and bubble mix for much less than that (lots of advice on the internet for how to do this for a few quid).
Makes a picnic out in a park much more interesting and usually piques the interest of other kids in the area so is quite sociable (bring lots of bubble mixture and a spare rod if you've got enough material).0 -
The Bournemouth air festival is on in the summer holidays, if the weather is good then it is fab free entertainment over 4 days. Also there is always something going on in Bournemouth gardens in the summer, so definitely worth a wander around there. They have just opened a new climbing place at the end of Bournemouth pier and they are currently building a zip wire that goes from there onto the beach.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0
