45p in the pot today from buying the bread. Very happy news in the jakesmum household as after 7 months, DH's PIP decision finally turned up! Very happy with the decision and we can now get a cleaner in to help us with the housework (which has been too much for me for a while now) :)

I hope that makes everything easier for you. :)

    Morning all.

Welcome to newbies - good luck with your savings. It's never too late to join.

    Thanks for the support.
AlwaysHappy - "focused" yes, but that's due to a fear of failure. I don't like failure once I set a target and my target meant I had to stay focused every week. But I got there!!
More relaxed next time with a lower target. I'm going to be more frugal next year anyway and have more no-spend-days.

I banked the final £110 yesterday, so all banked and ready for Christmas.
I'm off on my hols today, 10.45am flight.
Catch up when I get back, but keep on saving.

Did a change hunt in my house last night, seems I have a tendency to leave random pennies on various surfaces. Didn't total a lot but every penny helps, right?!

I can't believe how quick time is going. I'm hoping I've managed to pot about £20 I don't think it'll be much more than that but I did join late. Next year I'm going to set a high target and be really dedicated :)

lots of pennies fr the pot today! £15.69 in fleabay sales (and thats after fees :j :j) and about 80p odd in change from my purse :D Still a teeny tiny bit of room in the shrapnel tin so am forcing them in sideways and shking the tin after each pot to make sure every inch of pot is used :D

Sorry I've not updated for a while but have had to get stuck in to selling as DS decided he really wanted to go on a school trip which cost £700 and passport renewal had to be done so needed to use some of my banked cash to buy stock to earn the extra needed.

Now back down to £400 banked with a further £200 (cost price) locked up in stock and £100 waiting to be banked BUT I've managed to pay off DSes school trip and passport renewal at a total of £755 :j. Oh and not forgetting the coinage in my sealed pot.

I found using a variation of the 1% club ideas very motivating for me to get to my total but instead of each of the 100 squares being 1% of my total I made each equal £10 and wrote on each how much was saved when that square was coloured in. I've enjoyed doing it this way that I'll continue for any new targets I need to reach :)
    SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
    SPC 2014 £1100:D
