Current bank account not on Credit Report

Hi, newbie here so go easy.
I'm in the process of building my Credit File having been stupid in the past. All the 'badness' has disappeared as it was a brave while ago.
My current bank account doesn't show on my credit report. Is this problematic? Its a standard account with Ulsterbank with a £250 overdraft (which I use). Should I get this added to my credit report, or will the fact I've an overdraft damage my credit report? I've had the account over 10 years.
Any help would be appreciated.

It would be beneficial to your report, although you might find that your bank just doesn't give the information to CRA's, they aren't always forced to. You should be able to hand in a form to get them to share information with CRA's though, give them a phone call and ask.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

Does it not appear on any of your 3 reports?
Is the address used for the account exactly the same as your credit report shows?
Assuming the account was well run (no exceeding the overdraft, no bounced DDs) then it would probably be beneficial for it to be on your file.
That said if they choose not to report then its unlikely you will persuade them to do so.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
