Virgin Media record at my old address?!

Options
Hi

I have managed to finally sort myself financially and the last default from my troubles a few years ago has left my file last week. I only have one issue to deal with and that is a Virgin Media entry on my report from my old address. It has not been defaulted, and states that it is up to date and that my balance is £85.

I don't remember owing this and have been unaware of it as I was using Experian and it wasn't on there. It is showing with Equifax who I have recently checked with just to double check my file.

I am worried if I contact them they might default it and I'll be back to square one and have to wait another 6 years to clear my file again! I am quite sure it will be statute barred but i'm not 100%

Any tips?!

Thanks
