personally i hate the wanted sob stories, but must admit if there is a particular reason i would like something i have been known to add it in when i reply to a wanted, like something i would like for my child, or it would come in handy for such and such. but the "i need a 50" plasma tv as i've lost my reading glasses" annoy the heck out of me. :mad: :mad:

I now consider Freecycle to be a total waste of time - I have replied to quite a few offers on my local Freecycle inc. one which said "must be collected this afternoon" which I said I would do - none of these people have had the courtesy of a reply - not even a s** o**

Has anyone else had the same problems?

Offered TV with US outlet
We've just moved back from the states. Somehow our TV made it back here, too. If you're relocating to the states and taking a container of goodies, it's yours -- 25" or 27" TV. Has worked wonderfully for us in Chicago.

Depends on ones expectations - I work on the basis that someone may get dozens of replies - I would not expect them to reply to every single one - If I don't hear within 48 hours or so I assume it's gone to someone else - don't other people think along similar lines
