Prepayment meters, good or bad?

Yes theres all sorts of probs with gas/electric prepays. a lot of the time when we visit to deal with a card/key problem its beyond our means and people end up with no gas or electric in the middle of winter. Smart prepays would end all that waste including the health and safety issue with meters over 6 foot as all the meter info is on the monitor. The costs of prepay tariffs must come right down and there would be no reason why a fixed deal tariff could nt be implemented
