SKY Complete Package

Ok so I took sky out over a year ago
About 3 months ago I did a home move
Rang up other day to cancel as near the end of contract and they tell me I can cancel my TV package but not phone and broadband due to home move my contract had been extended. Didnt make sense as I could cancel my TV and it all got took out at same time.
Another phone call later l was told its because when I did a home move i took out a promotion on my Broadband / phone which then extended my contract. I wasn't aware I took out promotion and even if I did agree to this (Which i can't remember doing so) I for sure wasnt told it would extend my contract.
After 2 people on the phone at sky had conflicting stories I wasn't happy and so issued a complaints via e-mail (The only way the offer) who confirmed it was due to a promotion I apparently agreed too. I didnt agree to anything.
Now im stuck in contract for 1 year again with them without my authorisation and the email chain now reads like im getting automated responses and getting nowhere. This has been going on for 2 weeks.
Anything I can do to get out of contracts I shouldnt be in with these sharks?

Above is normal a new service/ package starts a new contract .
Do you know the actual packages you signed up to .0 -
They're saying I signed up to get my broadband for free 3 months ago but I didn't. This therefore has extended my contract for 12 months but didnt affect the TV package.
I honestly dont remember ever doing this and if I did I defintly didnt get told my contract would be renewed. As during the home move I was worried this might happen i was constnatly asking them to reassure me. It looks like they gave me 'free broadband' from new address without me agreeing / telling me it woudl extend contract.
I told them to listen back to the calls and their reply was:
"I have checked your account and see that your Sky services are in minimum term. I would like to inform that your Broadband and Talk services are in contract till 05/03/2015 as you have accepted the free Broadband Unlimited and Talk offers for 12 months - However, after reviewing your account, I can see that the correct procedure was not followed. please accept my apologies."
They have even admitted they are wrong in not warning me about the contract issue and me even accepting this but the replies since are automated such as 'If you would like to cancel, early termination charges will exist'
I just feel like im going round in circles without the issue being resolved.0 -
Anyone got any advice on how to proceed because if I Call they tell me complaints is via e-mail and the email complaints just seems to be automated replies now going round in circles.
No one is listening to me.0 -
Have you dug out all the communication you had from Sky about the house move, including emails? As said above, it's normal to start a new minimum term so I imagine it would have been mentioned in some form in any paperwork you had.0

A home move starts a new minimum term with all telcoms contracts. Why would you think otherwise? Since Sky are subsidising the entire cost of the move, they expect something back in return. No free lunch, and no free laptop

No paperwork, all done via phone - was told throughout the process that a home move does not initiate a new contract term. Why extend the phoneline products and not TV contract also? Very underhand.0
