How accurate should electoral roll dates be?

Options
Hi

Got my Experian £2 credit report and noticed that it says I was at address 1 until August 2011 (was August 2010), and address 2 from October 2010 (was August 2010).

Is this something that the councils just put through at certain times hence won't always match up depending on when they put it through, or should it be exact? It just makes it seem as though I lived at two addresses for a while (Oct 2010-Aug 2011), and I know people say that if things aren't right you should get them rectified. Just wondered if this matters in the least or is standard, really?

Thanks

Wouldn't worry about it, mine rarely line up and are a few months out and I've never been affected. Lenders just like to see you on ER at addresses you specify.
