What's your summer usage and costs?

Wondered what people's summer usages are?

I seem to spend the same on gas and elec. Between £13 and £16 each month for each fuel.

That is excluding the monthly standing charge which is an extra £12 in total.

I'm on the co-op tariff which I should really change

About 3.2 Units of electric, and 3.4 metric units of gas.

Not that that really means anything.

Hmmm - With Gas CH your monthly bill drops through the floor in Summer
The rule of thumb is that 80% of yur annual gas bill will be incurred in the Winter months

However your Elec bill is pretty stable though the year with a small drop in Summer, simply because you turn the lights on later in the day.

From quick guestimates, I reckon we are using about £25-£30 per month in summer, goes up to £150 per month in winter. Heating was switched off 1st May, and won't come back on until end of September. Try not to use any lights in the summer - go to bed by 10pm.

2.6 kWh electricity. 23 kWh of gas. Same in summer as in winter.

Strange question. What use can you make of answers?
