I have obviously been very lucky. Paid a £200 deposit for a weekend break in a hotel recently and had to cancel four days prior to arriving. They not only did not charge me extra but refunded my deposit in full despite the fact that their cancellation policy said they were within their rights to charge me an additional cancellation fee. Fantastic service for a change.
