Why don't you buy some fabric tape or the iron on hemming in a similar colour and quickly attach it before it frays anymore you can always trim the rest down when finished to match make it look purposeful!
  • here you go ~ what do you think? could i sill mount it? Its quite hard to see in a pic as its black stitches on black adia... but the long sliver grey thing near the top is my needle and the last stitch is below that...

this is the orginal, its the far right wing tip... although the one to the left of that is also effected... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOON-FAIRY-EXCLUSIVE-COUNTED-CROSS-STITCH-KIT_W0QQitemZ160117617111QQihZ006QQcategoryZ48299QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

ray you cant trim it as its going into a frame... however if i put gaffer tape on it will it be able to be pealed off once finished? But that would only work if i can still mount and frame it with only 1cm of fabric remaining :o

I think if you could buy some black fabric tape then you can rescue it, won't look so bad on black either.

That hemming tape on the back would be able to stay in place I think!

You are just finding problems now lol!

Can you tell I am too tight to buy hemming tape - pants I thought it would rescue it for you!

Maybe the gaffer tape then but leave it in place, worried it may fray more when you pull it away or do you know anyone with an overlocking machine?

:rotfl:sorry hun.. no i know noone :o however i think i can clip stitch over the side of the adia to keep it in place... however do you think i would still be able to mount and frame it once its finished? i dont want to finish it then not be able to present it right.
