How about Morrisons Cellar - I've used them for bulk buying and was a bit surprised when it arrived on a pallet - even so very good prices. Try a bottle in store first. This one is one offer at the mo. You can order up to 20 bottles but you could get a relly to order more.
Offer - Barefoot Pinot Grigio Delivered Chilled 75cl
Was £6.99, Now £4.99
- Now £4.99, when you order by 20/07/2014. Offer subject to availability. Maximum 20 promotional items per customer
£6.99 £4.990 -
Sorry forgot to add. There's a discount on spends of £75 use the code ten75. Which brings that wine down to £4.49.0

Or, why not the prosecco they do in Aldi. It's less than £6 a bottle and it's absolutely gorgeous. I know, it's a bit more expensive than the Asda white but you'd dole out less of it and bubbles for a wedding is super lovely!0

I'd not thought about Morissons as I cannot stand their supermarkets, I don't know why.
I really like the Aldi Prosecco, it's always sold out when I go though
Thanks again for the replies.Debt free other than a mortgage but still always wanting to save money :j.
Busy saving for my wedding July 2014.

Wine is good in a wedding however if you're going to buy a large quantity of it, you need to have budget for that or negotiate the seller for discounts.0

Have you looked at Majestic Wine? They often have offers on and for events they supply glasses etc free and will do use or return so you're not stuck with lots of leftovers.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

All good German supermarkets (e.g, Edeka & RUI etc.) offer a large selection of perfectly good wine (dry, medium etc. etc.) for less than 4 Euros, many can be purchased for less than 2 or 3 Euros (also a lot of wine is sold in liter bottles instead of 0.75 bottles). I would not include Aldi or Lidl in my list of good German supermarkets. I travel to Germany at least one a year to re-stock my wine cellar and the cost of the wine more than pays for the trip.0
