Hubby has a child from a previous marriage age 30, we have a child together age 19. If we were both to die together intestate how would our estate/assets be split? Would it be 50/50 or 75/25 in favour of our child?
We are off to make a will now but just curious as to the legality if dying intestate?
Thanks

Half of OH's estate would go to each of his children. The total of your estate would go to the your child.
Far better to arrange wills now.0 -

There is a rule about how long one has to survive the other or the eldest is deemed to have died first as far as I remember..
A will would be best.0 -
