Car finance/lease - poor credit
I'll keep this simple. I'm hoping to start a new job soon however I really would need a car to get there (no bus or train links nearby - too far to cycle).
I have very poor credit (no CCJs/IVA or BR yet) and do not have any savings. I have no family or friends that I could borrow off.
Is there ANYWHERE anyone can recommend that will offer a lease hire or any type of car finance to someone like me? I am currently employed full time earning circa £34k. I don't need anything flashy, just something affordable and reliable.
Preferably an actual company I can deal with directly and not a broker.
Anything?

No CCJ's or Bankruptcy ( YET ) does that mean your missing payments at present?
If so then the chances of more finance is slim. Except maybe Big Jon from the local pub who is good at origami with people limbs when they fail to pay.
Earning £34k but what are your outgoings?
I think its time to empty your pockets out and but something with what you have in your pocket right now.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Yes, bangernomics it is, £500 plenty enough for 12 months reliable motoring.
You won't get champagne for shandy money, but it'll still quench your thirst.
Very few people here will recommend a loan on a depreciating asset, especially if that loan means going to the less than scrupulous bottom feeding end of the species.0
