Credit Card - interest rates?

Hi
Probably a really simple question but I'm getting frustrated at not finding the answer. I have a 0% promotion on a credit card (balance transfer). I pay so much each month so st the end of the promotion period the balance will be zero.
I have just made a purchase on the same card (in error!). Does anyone know if I pay my recent transaction in full at my next bill will I now pay interest on my balance transfer, or will the credit card company revert back to 0% for the rest if the balance? Any is appreciated. Thanks

The balance transfer will remain at 0%, but you won't be able to avoid paying interest on your purchase. You may be able to minimise this interest by paying the value immediately your next statement is produced.
But why was the BT card even accessible to you? It should have been somewhere safe, other than in your purse!0 -
Thanks, that's what I thought. Wrong Barclaycard use, big mistake on my part!

Not that big. Make a payment to the card as soon as you see the transaction in the online statement and the interest will be negligibly small.0
