Bumping this thread, still no 'june' drop, have spent time thinning the crop, seems a crime to pull off apples , but there are just too many of them this year.
Also have got a touch of wooly aphid , so wonderful sight of yours truly attacking the tree with a tooth brush .0 -
I had June drop at the end of May.
Thinning is important to prevent biannual fruiting and branch breakages. It should also result in larger fruit with an overall higher yield of flesh.0
