Been unable to resist, wanted one of these for a while and been waiting for the price to come down again, not the cheapest it has ever been on Amazon, but still a good price.

Edit: WV50 now £39 thanks to 2013yearofthehouse for the update.

Bought the WV60 for £51.99 as it has a smaller head attachement too.

Edit: WV60 now £60 so not such good value as it was, but hang on if you want one as the price will probably come down again. Just set up a Camel alert.

I've been thinking about getting one of these - do you have to use a special cleaning solution with it or can you use your usual household sprays? I think it could be good for doing showers but as we have hard water it would need to be ok to use with the harsh cleaning products that remove limescale.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

I have one and they are brilliant. I use it to remove the water from the tiles after having a shower - it does such a good job that you get very little limescale. Couldn't believe how dry it got things when I first used it.
  • I have one it is great I just use hot soapy water on windows shower screen and mirrors it saves loads of time I actually enjoy doing my windows now

I actually have the Silver Crest version sold in Lidl - it was £20.00 (I think) and works just as well as the Karcher (my son has one of those), so may be worth keeping an eye out for when they appear in store again.

We have one and I love it, so much quicker to clean windows and mirrors showers etc. To clean my windows etc I put hot hater and washing up liquid in an empty spray bottle.

I have one as well and like the others have said I actually bother to clean my windows now- I never really used to bother as I hated all the trying to get them streak free.

I just use a bowl of soapy water to wash them and then dry them with the machine.

I like Silver Crest items, was it very long ago that you bought it? Will have to keep an eye out for them being stocked again.
