Vauxhall warranty

I recently had my car put through a full service and MOT, on return of the vehicle it was mentioned that their was a slight leak in the rear passenger shock absorber!

I have the Vauxhall lifetime warranty on the vehicle which is still active, would this fault be covered and fixed under warranty?

I was thinking of taking it down to the Vauxhall garage, but was unsure if I was wasting my time.

I'd imagine that shocks are classed as consumable so not covered. It won't be huge cost but worth doing both sides at sane time.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
