Hi,
I am looking a pre-paid credit card to carry a "cash" abroad.
My questions are:
1. Does this require a credit check
2. Does this go on my credit file/score
3. What limit or minimum is there to do this i.e what amount of money to load
4. Has anyone had experince of this and their opinion please?
Thanks so much.

Some banks now do Money cards and do as you describe but you have to have an account to get one. There is a fee for the card.
I don't think that you are credit scored as what would be the point you can only spend what's on - no more.0 -
As its not a credit card and gives no credit it does not require a credit check nor does it get reported on your credit record.
It does of course cost you money.. so check the details carefully.. its very difficult to find the details of charges on most of the websites.0
