Hi everybody.
This is the first time I've tried this. I was approached by Energy helpline who recommended E-on to me last year. That move saved me £55 a month.
I used to be with British gas dual fuel paying a direct debit of £180 a month.
Yesterday the help line recommended Green Star to me, so I checked on Martin's 'energy saving help line' to see what he thought and they also recommended Green Star, which will save me another £20 a month. I am now down to £105 a month and wonder how many others out there could help themselves save money by moving to this newish company.

Whilst you are reducing your direct debits are you making sure that they are actually covering your consumption by checking your bills against meter readings and notifying the supplier of any discrepancies.
All suppliers can offer you reduced dd's if they are only guesstimating your consumption, it's fine if your estimates are accurate but a disaster if they aren't.
This forum is full of people who have managed to whittle their DD's down and have found out to their consternation that they owe a ginormous sum of money when they come to change supplier and the meter gets read.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
