The article says
"However the firm says 1,300 customers who have since left British Gas have not been refunded. If you think this might be you, contact British Gas' customer services team and if you are one of those affected, you'll be refunded."
But, it seems, British Gas are not intending to compensate former customers. This is the email i have just been sent. Where to next - Ofgem?
"Dear Mr Birch
Thank you for the enquiry you sent earlier today.
As you are no longer a British Gas customer I will not be able to compensate you on your inactive account.
Please contact us should you need any help in the future and thank you for contacting British Gas.
Kind regards
