Just been speaking to Nationwide who says, contrary to MM's June 2014 post (as above), that only one account can be opened with the 5% AER year1-bonus per person
TSB - Each person can have 2 personal accounts each and 1 joint account each (using the 2 personal account holders names), making 6 accounts in total between 2 people.

I assume you mean the following?The big payers include Santander 123, which pays 3% AER if you've £3,000- £20,000; Club Lloyds, which pays 4% AER if you've £4,000-£5,000; and Nationwide FlexDirect at 5% AER on up to £2,500 for a year. It can also be possible to open more than one - see 5% Savings Loophole for how.
FlexDirect you can have one sole and one joint.
