anyone know of a website or anything that tells you what it costs to have a vehicle shipped from the u.s.a? tax, import costs etc. anything would be great, always been curious as would love to have a muscle car sent over....

Have you tried googling "import car to uk from usa"? Lots of results, although as I have little interest in what they have to say I haven't actually bothered to look at any of them.

It will depend on what year and engine is in it too. fuel injected vehicles tend to have a higher import rate compared to carb engine vehicles . but the in general your looking at around £3.5k to import a US vehicle to uk, Then about £300 on converting it for road use in the uk, by that I mean you have to have a fog lamp fitted red indicators changed to amber and the indicator relay changed, MOT'd. front headlamps checked for compliance and in some cases modern muscle cars in some states in USA are not fitted with a cat converter (they are illegal in some states) youll have to fit one.
