Credit report question

Hi all,
I'm currently just trying to get my credit score in order so I can hopefully apply for a mortgage in a couple of years.
I have just looked at my Credit Report on Equifax and notice that of course my Credit Agreements section is in the red, upon looking into the detailed report I notice I have a Default mark against me for an old Ulster Bank account I used to have. I defaulted on an overdraft of £245 in Dec 2011 which is what it states however I did then pay this back monthly and I have now cleared this debt. It doesn't say I have paid it on the credit report though, it just shows a 'Default / Delinquent Balance' of £245 and the Date Satisfied field shows empty. Is this normal or do I need to contact Equifax to tell them that I've paid?
If that's the case, will this Default stay on my account from the date I originally defaulted or the date the account shows as Satisfied?
Many thanks in advance
Ange

You don't have a credit score.
It would stay on for 6 years from the date of default.
Do you have anything from them in writing that confirms the debt was paid and you no longer owe anything?
Have you checked to see what it says on your Experian and Noddle files? If not, then I'd suggest you do that too (no need to pay for Experian's monthly subscription thing where they try to sell you a "credit score", because you do not have a "credit score" and they are just trying to make money out of people).0
