Christmas Hotels/experiences

Hi, the wife, daughter and I are looking to escape in the UK for a few days over Christmas and let a hotel provide for us instead of having all the family round. I've been searching around for the past few days and can't really find anything suitable.

Can anyone recommend anywhere? Obviously we're looking for rooms, breakfast and dinner included.

We're based in the South East - happy to travel just not too far (no more than a 3 or 4 hour drive).
Thanks!

The Manor House Hotel Okehampton normally does Xmas and New Year breaks. You may need to enquire as I can't see any thing on their website, but it probably a bit early yet.

There is plenty of choice, but as always it will come down to your budget.

It will be top end price, but have a look at Dunston Hall in Norwich.
  • Thank you both. I'll be sure to check them both out

Name a hotel outside of Travelodge and it will be doing something for Xmas and New Year.

A lot will depend on your budget and what sort of place you want. Four Seasons Hampshire is very pretty at Xmas and certainly their sunday lunch is fantastic so youd imagine their Xmas dinner is too but they are fairly isolated, esp if there is bad weather, and not exactly cheap
