Duston Cars, Northampton - Negative Experiences
I am posting on behalf of a friend that is too traumatised to deal with her situation anymore!
Has anyone else had a problem when they've bought a car from Duston Cars in Northampton?
My friend bought a used car from them, four hours after she got it, it broke down. They promised to do so many things for her, she'd leave the car with them for a couple of days and turn up and they'd done nothing (this happened several times).
Eventually they said they'd refund her money (6 weeks later), but that she would have to email to confirm this was the course of action she wanted to take. She emailed confirming she would like a refund and then a few days later received a letter from their lawyers saying they had never offered to refund her and they no longer had to provide anymore service to her. This is despite the engine light still being on and her having a four month warranty.
In the case of having to go to court now they have got lawyers involved, I'm interested to know if there is anyone out there that has had a negative experience with Duston Cars in Northampton.
