I did put this in Techie Stuff but i think this might be a better place?
I am trying to move the TV outside for a garden party at the weekend , we have the latest HUMAX YV box with BT
The HDMI cable between box and TV is obviously very short , so i was trying to unplug that , plug in an aerial coax cable into TV then into the antennea in plug on the YV box (cable is 10 meters long) , but i cannot seem to get a picture , when i tune the TV to the icon i think is correct , as in the coax icon , not the HDMI one (Bravia 3 year old) , nothing happens
What am i doing wrong guys?
Thanks

You need a longer HDMI cable.
5 metres (cheap);

As above, Dan-Dan. In regard to the coax, have you switched RF passthrough to 'on'? Because the default on a YV box is 'off'.0

Twenty minutes before starting this thread, the OP started an identical one on the Techie board, with the same name.

People don't wait for responses these days, although they did mention they started another thread.
Should have asked a mod to merge them together.0 -
Nobody noticed I actually quoted from the other thread in post #2 ?:)anotheruser wrote: »they did mention they started another thread.0
