Renewing House Insurance - cooling off period ?

Apologies from the outset if this is not the correct section to post this question
I renewed my House building and contents insurance with L&G via Swinton insurance only yesterday and have just received the email from Martin re the £70 Amazon voucher offer, if you use L&G to buy such insurance
When renewing such insurance, am I able to cancel that renewal during some form of cooling off period ?

You get 14 days but may have to pay an admin fee, which may make it not worth your while. Add to that they may class you as an existing customer. Is it just valid for new customers?Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0
