why? he served his sentence and will have to deal with the consequences! I dont know him or the circumstances but seeing people speak so highly of him on the video would suspect that it was an accident that he is sorry for. Yes a man was seriously injured and will have also to suffer the consequences of a foolish mans actions. How about some compassion & forgiveness for ALL concerned!

If he did have any sort of remorse why did he buy a mitsubushi evolution which is another souped up sports car while Mr Palmer laid in his hospital bed.Why should he be allowed to return to a highly paid job with a tag.If you applied for a job as a teacher with a criminal record and tagged you wouldn't get the job no matter what your qualifications are.Seems very clicky to me.

Apart from what the children must think of the headmaster, I (as a teacher) would not be able to respect the man after that. It would be forefront in my mind whenever he spoke about morals etc.

I agree completely.I have friends and family with children at the school and they were saying that the local mp is hand and glove with the school .They are afraid to speak out about this because their children could be victimised over it.Any ideas what they can do about this without affecting their childrens education

I guess just band together. He can't victimise everyone at the same time. And the more someone tries to treat badly, the more rope they give others to hang them with.

Yup, I was glad to read this - there's no way I'd want that man as headmaster, or even teaching, in a school that my child attends so justice as been done I believe.
