Always worth a written complaint in my opinion :T

Thanks I thought that too... but should I complain to Lloyds (who just ignore my letters) or to the FOS?

Lloyds, you must head your letter "COMPLAINT", and send to there customer complaints address, they have a procedure they must go through, send recorded delivery.
If no joy after 8 weeks, you can involve the FOS.
After you send the letter, to make sure of a response, its a good idea to ring the FOS helpline, explain that Lloyds have ignored previous letters from you, the FOS will either ring, or write to Lloyds to tell them they have a complain to deal with from you.
Just a little insider tip ;)

i have forwarded the letter to mse via the link posted earlier in the thread, and got a response saying it is the same type of this as wonga and SLC. they also want to sent it to a national paper (which is fine), and if i would be happy for the paper to do an interview and take a photo (declined this).

I am in 2 minds as to whether I should complain or not, due to me recently winning about mis-selling of PPI, and a mis-selling of an account is under review with fos (which has been extended by another 8 weeks, after the initial 8 weeks passed), all of this with tsb
