Balance Transfer Issue - Different Names

in Credit cards
Hi Guys
Hoping for some help...
I currently have about £2,300 debt with 3 credit cards (Vanquis, Luma & Barclaycard) all on about 37% Interest.
I wanted to move this debt to a 0% interest card so i can start paying it off and not just the interest but i unfortunately do not have a sufficient credit rating.
My Mother kindly accepted to move the balance onto a new card she would open being able to gain 0% for 33 months or so. I would then give her all the mentioned cards to stop any temptation to re-borrow and pay back £100 a month or so.
We opted for Halifax as they were offering a 33 month 0% deal, filled in all the details and she was accepted with a £3,000 limit with the 0% deal. We filled in 4 credit card information (1 was hers with £200) and when set up she received an e-mail saying my 3 cards had failed at the Balance Transfer.
On popping into Halifax today she was told they failed as my cards were registered to a different address. - Would this usually matter?
Is this a known issue when trying to balance transfer from one name and address to another?
Any ideas on how to get around this appreciated?
Thanks in advance

Can you not do an online balance transfer as they only require the card number?0

That's what we tried but they came back failed. I've since spoken to Halifax who said they recently changed it so the cards have to be registered at the same address.
I guess i can just move my cards to her address first?0 -
With hindsight, perhaps your mum should apply with MBNA and do a BT into her bank account0
