Not sure if this is the right place - long-term TTC 5 years +

Hi
I’m not sure if this is the right place to post; I saw athread for TTC, but nothing forlong-term TTC. These boards have been really helpful for me for my moneytroubles and I felt the need to talk to someone about my problem of TTC.
My husband and I have been TTC for just over five years nowwith unexplained infertility, had all the tests etc then discharged fromhospital a couple of years ago as there was nothing else they could do. Theyrecommended IVF, but wont fund it as hubby already has two kids from a previousmarriage.
I’m 34, hubby is 40, we’re getting on and I have got to thatpoint where I think it may never happen which depresses me greatly….. On top ofthat two people at work are pregnant and my 24 year old niece text me today totell me she’s pregnant too. I know it’s bad of me to feel jealous, but I do. Ijust want to stamp my feet and cry. It should be my turn…..
Is anyone else out there in a similar boat or have any nicestories to share?

Yes, come join us, you can find all of our stories in the thread pink linked. I'm also unexplained, the NHS wont fund me because at 36 I'm obviously past it, we are about to start our own self funded cycle next month.0
