That was where I was coming from in asking what the £100 was for. I would have thought that any responsible organisation, such as the council or a bank, would be prepared to come to a short-term compromise ( e.g. allowing the OP to pay this month's payment at the end of the month ), rather than seeing them get into even worse difficulties ?

The OP says no way out so im guessing its not rent, gas etc but for something else. Selling the phone, PC and anything else to cex might be an option.

OK, then in that case, I'd prefer not to help, and recommend that others do the same. Suggesting ways for a desperate person to get into extra debt is immoral, I believe, and is not likely going to be what you really need.

I hope that you find a way out of your hole, though.

If payday lenders wont lend, then you have no way of obtaining the £100 by borrowing it from a lender.

Either selling stuff, or borrowing from Family or friends are your only choices, but if they do lend it to you will they ever see it again?

Take whatever you are using to post this on (phone, computer, tablet) to CeX or a pawn shop.

Pawn your phone or your PC/laptop as suggested above... that's got to be better than losing your kneecaps!!

Surely you have been in this position a dozen times before, every time you took out a payday loan for example.
Did you not learn this type of short term borrowing never ends well?

Two years ago, three years ago .......

    Nothing ever changes for you.

For goodness sake break the cycle and sort yourself out.

Take the advice above and then go and flip some burgers as a way of earning a few pounds to get your stuff back and build a reserve.

    Then live within your means!

    Hi Op,

No further posts since just after 4pm so I'm guessing that you've either pawned/sold whatever device you've been using or done something daft...

    Hopefully it's not the latter.

All I can say is that if the £100 is needed for a legal reason such as a payday loan then not paying it may actually be a good thing if it gets you to face up to speaking to them and getting out of the predicament you're in.

My advice would be to contact a debt charity ASAP to seek help for your financial problems and seek advice from any similar, relevant charities for anything else...

    Good luck Dee!

Is this another thread where the OP does not return for a year or more and then asks for help once again.
:) Been here for a long time and don't often post
