I purchased 2 of the Sumvision M18 4GB Mp3Player for www.advancedmp3players.co.uk
I find these Mp3 Players NOT to be User friendly like my previous Sandisk Player trying to Navigate around the player to find Music Tracks is really difficult, also it takes over 60 minutes to sync the Player with my PC Music Files 1GB this is extremely slow.
I have contacted their tech support they say send them back ,
since this was a Money Saving Expert Special 6 weeks ago I was wondering
have other people had the same issues with this Player aswell?
What do you suggest I exchange it for ?decent quality Brand this time value for money.
Thanks,
Heidy

iRiver, Creative, Rio (before they stopped making them but still good players), Apple, but they're not necessarily cheap. A 4GiB MP3 player for £24 is bound to compromise somewhere and if you're going for just cheap then you have to be prepared to live with those compromises. It sounds cheap even with the disadvantages you mentioned, I don't think you're going to find anything better for that money, in which case you need to give an indication of what kind of revised budget you're looking at."She is quite the oddball. Anything over 2GB you should go for a top brand, like Apple, Samsung and creative as Superscaper says there is always a compromise on performance when you buy low end products with high end chips.
The Sumvision player itself uses a Hynix chip set (the memory chip) which are not the worst chip sets but they are far from being at the top end.. and from my experience always seem to have fualts
When buying an MP3 player first work out how many tracks you actually want on it if the your answer is around as each gig will give you around 400 MP3 tracks and around 800 WMA tracks respectively, so a 4GB should allow you to store around 1600 tracks on there that a lot of music for anyone...
If you want an alternative that is cheap and reliable go for an Asidt MP3 player, I have the Gym Pal 1GB which I brought for £20 from QVC not great value compared to your 4GB purchase, the only difference is that it has never let me down.. it also has a samsung Chip set, these are the same chips that are going into Apple products like the iphone.
As I said anything over 4GB you are better off going for a large brand.. i.e Apple

I always got the impression Apple was for Macintosh Computers even with Mp3 Apple you can use with Microsoft "PlayforSure" Licenced Subscription Music as well as unlicensed tracks.
Sumvision M18 4GB Mp3 Player will NOT work with Rhapsody or Napster Music Services.
One feature I definitely wanted was A Sleep Timer so I could programme my Mp3 Player to switch it self off after say 40 minutes at bedtime music listening.
This time Budget is Not a Problem I have also been wondering if I should go with a MP4/Mp3 combination with a decent size screen for viewing videos from YouTube.com
and copy some stuff off www.musicbrigade.com too is this the only decent
music video site out there?
Thanks Guys for all your assistance so far.

You can use an ipod on (windows) pcs as well as Macs."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
