Transfer balance between two Capital One accounts?

Today my Capital One credit card wouldn't work in the chip and pin machine at the train station, so I was asked if I had another card and I used my other Capital One credit card to pay for the ticket (£97).

What I want to know is, can I call capital one and ask them to transfer the amount from the credit card account I used to the other one? I don't think I can but thought I'd ask anyway!!

Cheers :D

No, Capital One states in their terms & conditions that you can't balance transfer between two of their cards. That includes Luma cards (as they're managed by Capital One).

You could always consolidate the two cards and keep the one with the more favourable interest rate, but it means you wouldn't have two cards anymore...

The interest rate on the one I charged to this morning is 27.9% (£1000 limit/Progress Card) the other one is 34.9& (£400 limit/£200 deposit).. Hmmm, Would they put the £400 limit onto the Progress card and keep the APR the same?

No harm in asking, I've heard them about companies doing this before.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.

Yep, they gave you the option as to which card & rates you want to keep. Your balance and credit limit from the other card will then be moved on to your card of choice.
