I won a holiday last year on FB.. The company concerned asked if I could comment on their FB page so others would realise the winner was a real person etc. I did as this seem a reasonable request.thanks to all posters

I've changed my facebook username to NOBODY so when I enter FB comps I press the "Like" button it will say NOBODY likes this0 -
I always comment. The comp would be for publicising the company and other people need to see/hear a real winner. I don't see it as an "unnatural display" or bragging. It is just good comping etiquette imototal wins 2013 £5500 2014 £7500 2015 £23,900 2016 £10,650 2017 £13,040 2018 £10,620 2019 £10,115 2020 £3970.00

Back Comping in 2024!0 -
I always comment too, won a runners up prize today on fb (wine glasses & pizza vouchers) so of course I commented and said thank you - I just think its polite to say thank you publicly when the comp is on fb and also it publicises their page which is the least we can do if we win a prize0

I won a trip to China a few months ago from Qatar Airways, and was then subjected to a barrage of abuse about how I should think about the children in Syria etc... I'll never thank the prize-giver in public again! Although of course I will make sure I thank them profusely via DM or email!Best 2013 win - £2k trip to China!
