Mi fi help please

I need some advice with a mifi device such as Huawei mifi wifi to be used abroad for surfing internet when abroad.

Anyone used one before? The easier to use the better

Not to sure about your question but..

If going abroad with a UK contract be it PAYG or monthly you will be charged the normal international data roaming charges for your network. Depending on the network there maybe an addon that you can purchase prior to travel for these circumstances.

If you are going to use a local SIM i.e. a SIM purchased in the country you are going to then you would need to ensure that the mifi is unlocked and able to accept SIMs from another network provider.

It is unlikely to be cheap, is there no free wifi where you are going? This is usually the best way to connect when abroad.

Be careful of the roaming charges, they can be quite high. I may be cheaper to buy a 3G modem with prepaid data at your destination.
