Moving home, effect on credit worthiness?

Four month's ago I moved home, I was at my previous address nearly 6 years. Plus on the electoral roll, my electoral roll history goes back to 1992.
If I applied for a credit product would they just check my previous addresses to approve an application.
A few days ago I received notification from my local council about a new service of getting you on the electoral vote by providing your national insurance number. Went through this but not heard back as yet from the council.

You shouldn't really have much of a problem, one or two lenders might say no, but I expect most lenders to be perfectly fine with it.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
You should certainly get onto the electoral roll though. It helps when applying for credit and of course, if there is an election you can vote!0
