query re ikea soft closing hinges ?

Hi all,

I recently installed some IKEA PAX wardrobes.

Comprising a corner wardrobe plus a 50 cm single wardrobe next to it.

Happy with it, but query re soft close hinges.

I bought them as an optional extra ( the soft close gizmo just clips onto hinge )

They work fine on the door for the single 50cm wardrobe, but do not work on the corner wardrobe. I think it may be because the hinges on corner unit open to a wider angle ( normal angle hinge wouldn't allow door to open enough to access inside wardrobe easily )

Appreciate if anyone has fitted or tried fitting the soft closers on a PAX corner wardrobe ?

I am travelling to see family at weekend and they have a ikea store few miles away, so if they are not designed to be used with the wider angle hinges, I will take them back and try for refund. ( No ikea stores any where near my place )

Just to update as may possibly help someone in future...

Managed to get through to ikea store bedroom dept, who confirmed that the soft closers do not work on the corner wardrobe doors due to the wider angle hinges, so will return them for a refund.
