Newbie 😄 retail fin serve & store cards

Hello :-)

I'm after a bit of a shove in the right direction please. I had a loan years ago, no idea who with, I was young and naive. My bank statements show payments to a 'retail fin serve' does anyone know who that might be please? (I know you're all very clever and investigative on here)

Also, I had store cards with Evans and with Dorothy Perkins. When I signed up (years ago - still young and naive) I vaguely remember the card provider being G E Money. I've tried to contact them buy they're very unhelpful and seem to think I want to talk mortgages bless them.

So, if you've any pointers you could possibly give me as to where to start. That would be wonderful please. I have no paperwork whatsoever so I'm presuming I'll go no where fast but it doesn't hurt to try does it.

Thanks for reading my post

Possibly Retail Financial Services Ltd which is a trading name of Santander Cards UK Ltd

GE Capital retail card credit agreements were taken over by Santander.

Store cards weren't regulated prior to Jan 2005, so if you want to complain you'll have to jump through some hoops.
First complain to Santander. They will reject your complaint. Then complain to Genworth. They may or they may not refund you.
