I received a letter from SC&M last week offering full and final settlement of my claim aginst Lloyds. When I rang sc&m they told me it could take up to 5 weeks for the money to be credited to me account, my allocation hearing is set for 4 weeks time. Should i carry on and prepare a court bundle and go ahead with the hearing???????/

Dear _____,Re. Account number: ______________
Court Claim: 7Q_____
Thank you for your £xxx.xx ‘gesture of goodwill’ of _th July 2007, which I will gladly accept in full and final settlement of my claim against __________.
I will contact the court and inform them of my acceptance of your offer.
Might I suggest that a BACS payment would be quicker and cheaper than a Cheque payment.Details for BACS Payment
Account name: ________
Bank: ________
Sort Code: __-__-__
Account Number: ________
Once cleared funds have been received in my account, I shall inform the court that I have received my settlement in full and the close the proceedings.
