Dipping the toes into the water ....

Some of you may remember my postings when I lost my much-loved OH of almost 50 years to pancreatic cancer. Well that was over three years ago now, and I'm gradually starting to re-live my life again ....and have dipped my toes into the seas of dating again
I've met a very nice chap - who is also a widower - and we've had a couple of very nice dates, we message each over and talk on the telephone - and it's lovely! I think I've worked with enough men over the years (and raised 3 sons) to recognise the differences between the frogs and the princes ..........this one might be a prince!
It was strange, getting ready for a "date" again after such a long, long time - once again, all the clothes thrown on the bed, picked up, discarded - then back to the first outfit again ..and this time I could only go through my wardrobe - not raid the wardrobes of my sisters :rotfl: I was extremely nervous about the whole thing - but when I got there - so was he - so that made it easier. We talked a lot, had a coffee, walked around the gardens where we met and time just flew by. A second date was arranged for later in the week - for lunch - that too was just as good, and we both left smiling - and I think we are both still smiling!
So.....life is good, at the moment, we are both enjoying the "fluffy pink cloud" moments - we're having a whole day together next week and I'm really looking forward to it.
I feel like going round singing to this :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6Sxv-sUYtM&feature=kp !

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
