Clearing my credit file

very long boring story cut short. Basically in 2012 I sold my house, there was shortfall on the mortgage, and I agreed to settle this with monthly payments.

But, this is showing as a 'default' on my credit file. Its with Leeds bank. Ive phoned Leeds and they said they dont know why.

So although the balance decreases each month, its still showing as default.

Has anybody got any advice on how to get this cleared? my credit score has gone from perfect to bottom of the barrel :(

It shows default because they have reported you defaulted, you need to complain to them if the default is wrong or with the CRA who have logged it.
