We need some new pillows - but are not willing to pay the £75 each that our previous one supposedly cost (orthopaedic - memory foam)
I prefer a supportive but soft pillow - what are the best ones to get ?

            I use a Tempur® Original Pillow Medium
will last for years as foam is to dense for bugs to get in..I love it and would buy another, as and when (current one is about 5 years old)
problem is its more than your £75 one by a £1 here, may be cheaper elsewhere

£75 for a pillow!!!!!. God almighty.
Places like Chilton Mills will be able to sort you out for like £3-£10. Theres no need to be ripped off like this.0 -
I like my feather pillows. Soft and supportive0

I bought a Slumberdown memory foam one in Tesco for £12. Quite impressed with it actually.0

I've got a pocket sprung one from Dreams. I was a bit concerned that I might be able to feel the springs, but I can't and it's very comfy.0

I got mine from John Lewis.0

I'm a fan of the Dunlopillo latex foam pillows. But they are as rare as hens' teeth these days, and the only one I've managed to buy recently was the expensive luxury model.
I did buy a much cheaper one from Dunelm Mills, but it was too thin for me.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

Dunlopillo are fantastic but not cheap. However, like mattresses, you use a pillow every night and quality's important even if it means spending more.0 -
I purchased Some Dorma Full Forever from Dunelm after staying in a hotel that had them on their beds. I have severe arthritis in my spine and neck and the pain in my neck used to wake me every night. These pillows are like a miracle worker i have never once woken up with pain during the night or morning..after a day of moving around i get into bed with the pain and when my head hits the pillow i'm a gonner. Couldn't recommend them enough!0
