Observices Parking Consultancy (OPC)

Does anyone know if OPC are still even in operation? I received a parking notice back in April which I ignored and waited for the Notice to Registered Keeper.

I sent in the appeal using the wonderful guide on this page on 2 May 2014 both via email and post (and kept proof of postage) and I've heard nothing back at all.

Their website hasn't been operational for sometime and now I'm kinda stuck not knowing what to do next as I've had no further communications from them.

Anyone else had anything from them recently?

Did a check on companies house and according to them it is still an active company. See what you mean about the website though.

If you have an email address you could email them saying that as you have not heard within the required 35 day time period you assume the appeal was successful and the matter is now closed.

Yes, they are active - OPC just took over two big car parks in Aberdeen (from NCP) and installed a whole new barrier, "chipcoin" and camera system.

Teething problems have been quite impressive but nowhere near as bad as NCP's utterly decrepit operation.

Thanks - I've got a copy of the letter I sent so will email them on the appeals email address. I didn't know that they had 35 days to respond.

Keep your thread updated and get help with POPLA stage appeal so you win. We haven't heard about this bunch much since that 'gypsy-weddings-male-stereotype' lookalike Douglas Harris admitted offences brought by Trading Standards at Wolverhampton and got fined in court.

    Not a nice bunch.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have emailed them today to basically say that as I've not heard from them in the requisite 35 days, then I assume the appeal is upheld and the matter closed. No response as yet but will keep alert.
