    Proper tablet isn't lidl's packed stuff. ;-)

Lees is a well known brand , not a "Lidls own".

I used to make my own a lot , but gave up because I lost my patience and found I was burning & wasting too many batches

72% is the meat content. For me that is fairly high meat content, I'm fussy with sausages but Lidl's are fantastic for the price (even better for the cheaper price)

i dont consider less than 75% to be a good meat conrent...we go for 90% plus but each to their own....cant comment on tablet as have never tried it

I think if you consider that you are spending your money on the meat content anything that is not meat is rusk and the odd bits.

The higher the meat content the better the quality and value for money.

I would try to have the highest meat content going for value as well as quality.

Just re reading why would you be taking tablets with the sauseges?

Could they be rennie or something due to the low meat content?

I would go for the high end ones, but each to their own.

Well 70% is my cut off! It's not 40% rubbish. As someone who can't afford luxuries - shop bought 90%+ are £3 or more often for maybe 6 sausages and butchers is a bit expensive. These ones taste good, high meat content (for me). Still can't believe how likes of Richmond get away with £2.50ish price for 40odd% meat.

Lee's tablet like almost all packet stuff is pretty dreadful IMO.
    PK! :money:

Bit silly to cite a percentage meat cut-off when you have no declaration of what they are including as 'meat'.

I would rather have meatloaf with a little steak mince and lots of bread than a big pot of questionable £4 a kilo mince.

The possible contents of pork sausage are even more alarming.

Of course contradicting the rubbish I just wrote there is no guarantee that the 40% meat is not made with same stuff as the 70% meat so my cited argument is rubbish.

Still, I like rusk and vegetables and other stuff. If I want something meaty I'll buy a steak.

And I'm not feart. Here's my ASCII art rendering of Mohammed battling the Spaghetti Monster:

Have you ever wondered why it is that only the name of Jesus is used as an expression of disgust or as a swear word? Even Hitler wasn't shown that much disrespect, wonder how far we'd get using the god of Islam so disrespectfully considering their view of blasphemy carries the death penalty...

just goes to show how easy going we are which is why we are ins such a mess!!
