Hazelmeade Pork Sausage ( Lincolnshire, Pork or Cumberland ) 77p for 454g ( Packet of 8 )
Hellmans Mayonaise ( Original or Light ) 99p for 400g
Batts BBQ Sauce 42p for 450g
Cucumber 22p each

Different in Scotland

Tower Gate Oatcakes 39p for 300g
Lees Macaroon or Tablet 32p for 120g
Mull of Kintyre Mature Chedder Cheese £1.44 for 300g
Swede 32p each

    And they are haveing a "Greek week"
    so things like
    Feta Cheese , Stuffed Vine Leaves, Tzatziki , Houmous , Gyros (seasoned pork ) and oher Meze type things
    + Greek alchol - Ouzo & Retsina

    cu ok but not travelling 5 miles to spend 22p...the sausages are ok imo but not a very high meat content...ok to frazzel on a barbie though

    some of us ex-pats would kill for a bit of proper tablet :)
    The cheese is also a pretty good price

    Have you ever wondered why it is that only the name of Jesus is used as an expression of disgust or as a swear word? Even Hitler wasn't shown that much disrespect, wonder how far we'd get using the god of Islam so disrespectfully considering their view of blasphemy carries the death penalty...

    its only a made up name from a book of fiction (as they all are), don't get your knickers in a twist about it.

    Might take a wander up there for a couple of cucumbers, bought 2 yesterday @45p each. Had wanted some for ages but refuse to pay the ridiculous 90p Sainsbos are charging atm.

    72% is the meat content. For me that is fairly high meat content, I'm fussy with sausages but Lidl's are fantastic for the price (even better for the cheaper price)
