credit bureau data

HI there my app has been referred to underwriters due to credit bureau data???
I am confused as I have up to date copies of experian and equifax and nothing showing apart from 1 late payment in jan 2012

Is credit bureau data different than the data held by credit reference agencies?

Many thanks

There are three CRAs - they often hold different information.

The referral could have been for anything - without knowing their criteria, you won't necessarily be able to spot it. Could be the late payment, or your total limits, or balances, or electoral roll, anything.

As far as I know, 'credit bureau' is what the Americans call a credit reference agency, so they are one and the same thing.

Check your current Equifax file, as that is what RBS Group uses for mortgage applications.

Check Noddle (Callcredit), that is the one report you haven't seen.
